It’s rare for a convict to actually request a life sentence, but this jailhouse Casanova was ready to lock it down. The incarcerated San Francisco rapper recently popped the question to his now-fiancée, known online as Baby Belle. He’s been found guilty of stealing her heart and is now ready to trade in his orange jumpsuit for a tuxedo and enter another prison called marriage.

From the confines of his concrete cell, Yatta plotted the big surprise: an extravagant, over-the-top display tacky enough to impress even a Kardashian.

The grand proposal came complete with massive floral arrangements spelling out “MARRY ME,” glittering pyrotechnics, and a real-life violinist. This thing was classier than Audrey Hepburn at a tea-sipping convention.

“You ain’t seen no s**t like this.”

Jones – who’s serving a 12-year sentence in connection to a 2016 murder – boasted.

The proposal truly had everything, everything except a groom-to-be. Jones phoned it in (literally) via a prison-issued FaceTime call. Nothing screams romance like an automated voice asking if you’ll accept the charges.

After mutual declarations of love and some fumbling with the mute button, the bride-to-be said “Yes,” to her behind-bars beau. Proving their love is no con, Baby Belle slipped the impressive diamond ring on her finger, puckered up to her iPad, and gave her favorite felon a smooch right on the screen.

The Bay Area rapper wasn’t about to let a little thing like lockup keep him from a very public declaration of love. Far from a private affair, the viral engagement was witnessed by an audience of more than 2.6 million TikTok viewers and at least one state correctional facility monitoring system.

“Turned this mother f*****g engagement from behind the wall,” Yatta bragged from behind the screen. (YattaVEVO/YouTube)

So, what’s next for the happy couple? That’s up to the parole board. Yatta and Belle’s fairy-tale romance will have its happily-ever-after after he serves his sentence. Until then, they have the power of love, commitment, and conjugal visits.
