A woman in a Massachusetts town was recently enjoying an evening in an outdoor hot tub, as one does, when she saw something strange in the sky. Naturally, she grabbed her phone to capture the object, which remains unidentified and seemed to be flying, earning it the abbreviation OUF, or more popularly a ‘UFO’ for fans of kitschy Sci-Fi.

The Federal Aviation Administration said there were no accounts of wreckage or rubble in the region. And there was no statement from officials, which we all know means that something extremely suspicious and likely supernatural occurred.

The object was said to look like it was on fire and descending quickly, but fortunately there was no reported damage to any hot tubs or outdoor pools in the area.

The woman said the entity didn’t make any noise as it fell towards the Earth, which left her befuddled. Though she did admit that she had headphones on and was listening to music. When asked what she was listening to, she further admitted that it was a greatest hits album of Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs.

When asked for his thoughts, a local doctor and hot tub scientist said, “I’ve always liked ‘Wooly Bully,’ it’s a fun song and has held up well over time. Oh, did you mean about the possible effects of being in a hot tub? Yeah, it can potentially cause dizziness over time, possibly even hallucinations, and seeing some far-out, groovy things. You definitely want to take breaks and give others a chance in the hot tub. As we say in the scientific community: Don’t bogart the tub.”

“Some people have accused the woman of trying to cash in on the incident,” said a local, “but I don’t buy it. After all, in this country, there is very little interest in aliens or conspiracy theories of any kind, so what would she have to gain by, say, starting a podcast or writing a book?”

The public is now hoping that these developments will lead to a second sequel in the beloved ‘Hot Tub Time Machine’ art house film series.
