Oh Florida, what hath you wrought again? The state, which most people would rank in their top 50, is like a mischievous child, running around with their pants on their head after setting the house on fire. Weird stuff happens there all the time, from bath salts to lawsuits between Disney and the government. There’s a reason “Florida Man” is ingrained in our heads as ‘welp, someone did something stupid again.’ The state is in the news again, but this time for more of a supernatural phenomenon that’s unfolding in real-time – and perhaps at different times altogether – on TikTok.

Florida man, er, TikTok user Alec Schaal, claims to have caught a man breaking into the shed at a property he rents out as an Airbnb, which in and of itself is no big deal. You show me a shed, and I’ll show you someone who wants to break into it, rummage around, and perhaps catch a nap. In fact, if Alec’s in the right part of town, he could probably rent his shed out as a separate Airbnb (we’re not lawyers). At any rate, this was caught on camera, which in the age of Ring doorbells and iPhones and whatnot, is also not that big of a deal. What was a bigger deal was that one day later, what he purported to be the same guy, aged 40 years or so, emerged from the tardis/shed.

Upon being alerted of someone on his property and in his shed via a security camera, Schaal called the cops, who investigated but didn’t find evidence of anyone in there. Fast forward one day later when the camera caught an elderly gentleman leaving (but not entering) the shed. He appears to be wearing similar clothes, which is leading Schaal (and the whole damn internet by now) to claim that the shed is a portal.

Is there a full, unedited video of his Ring camera? Nope. Is Schaal really leaning into this now and making it his personality? Yup. Are people trying to debunk this by stating it’s all part of an attempt for real estate guy Schaal to be time traveler shed guy Schaal? Yep. Is it working? Sure is – when TMZ is reporting on it and even the hard-hitting news hounds at Odd News Show are writing it up, you know you’ve gone viral! Until this is optioned into a film or something else ridiculous in Florida catches the public eye and everyone moves on, we’re sure you’ll be able to catch the latest on the shady schadenfreude shed on Schall’s socials.
