Neighbors of 68-year-old Earl Bigsby have watched with a mixture of bewilderment and admiration over the past eleven years as a massive wooden structure has slowly taken shape in his backyard. The result: a fully functional 40-foot replica of a 17th century Spanish galleon, complete with cannons, rigging, and a crow's nest.
